Program MembershipAt the Y, we know that it takes a child more than 6 weeks to develop effective life long water safety skills, so we are proud to introduce a Program Membership that includes all the benefits of a Y Membership plus access to the new Continous Swim Lessons module. The YMCA is also proud to offer Karate for Kids taught by nationally certified instructors of the Rodney Hobson Karate Academy. Our formula is simple…Self-Defense + Self-Discipline = Self-Confidence. We help children develop a healthy mind and body so they have the energy and fitness to face life’s challenges, and suceed. Being self-confident means your child believing in him/herself. This is easy to do when your child has the self-discipline to achieve goals and the self-defense skills to back him/her up so they don’t have to feel intimidated to stand up for what they believe in. For Program Membership, families (maximum two members aged 19+ yrs) with children (0 – 12 yrs) never pay more than $114.50/month and families with children and youth (0 – 18 yrs) never pay more than $125/month (plus HST). Building Fund, card Fees and Member Plus options not included. Based on a pre-authorized monthly payment plan. No minimum term required. To cancel, Program members (or their parent of guardian) must submit a Notice of Cancelation in writing one month prior to their last class. At the end of one month you must cancel your membership payment in person at Member Services. Or, inliue of notice pay $15 to cancel on the spot.
